Musicians' Practice Hub

A recording studio and practice hub for musicians has been suggested for the All Hours Church very often. Video, music and multimedia go hand in hand. Today's musicians want to reach the Internet and go viral. Christian musicians have a purpose for their song. By sharing a single facility designed to accomodate the needs of Christian musicians, the All Hours Church in Tallahassee will become a popular meeting place for Christian talent.

Now musicians have a place they will be able to gather and collaborate without limits through the night. People in the night are attracted to light and sound. When they come near they will hear the Gospel in song. Often times musicians pray and worship. They are the heartbeat of many worship services. The All Hours Church is dedicated to being open at all hours. We don't expect preachers to preach all night or to hold long services without end. At its core, we only commit to being sure that there is always someone to pray with, someone to talk to. The musicians, on the other hand, will add the sweet sound of salvation to the mix, lifting high the name of Jesus, and drawing people in through songs of praise and truth.

Think with us on this. Because the All Hours Church is an extension, your church is now becoming a place where musicians will gather all day every day to offer praises to God. Videographers also, will record and capture moments of worship and all this may serve as a background of praise for your own preaching and that of your members when they participate. The multimedia and recording center will allow small churches to use the facilities that up until now only the larger churches could afford and another important element - talented people to sing and record with.

All this being the case, we expect musicians to comprise a significant percentage of the participating paraministries at the All Hours Church. Please know that practice rooms will be sound proofed so that there will be quiet in adjacent areas and recording studios.

Obviously, there is a cost to good recording and performing facilities. When expenses are shared cost drops dramatically. Just ten groups of musicians contributing $40/hour six hours per week would produce $10,000/month. This is enough revenue to cover the expenses of a typical 7,500 square foot facility in Tallahassee at $1.30 per square foot. We look forward to meeting with you to pray about where best to locate this facility and what equipment and space would be most effective. The cost might be much less. There may even be property donated so no rent is necessary at all. $1.30/sf is simply an average for Tallahassee commercial space useful for making measurements.
